Synopsis

This is a guided photography and heritage walk covering the Nizamuddin Dargah areas. The Dargah is housed in the Nizamuddin Basti - a part of the Humayun’s Tomb - Sunder Nursery – Nizamuddin Basti Urban Renewal Project

As part of the walk, you will be given some theory lessons on the basics of photography. You will then move on to practically testing your photography skills under our guidance, while we take up your doubts and share knowledge on photography. Once you have figured out the power of your camera, especially its manual mode, we will move to the Nizamuddin Dargah, where we will shoot street life and portraits.

At the end of the day, you will have gained a new skill, a history lesson and permanent memories of this historical place captured through your camera.

Am a photo journalist and it was a great insightful walk. Helped me a lot for my upcoming documentary. Nizamuddin is a treasure trove to capture street photography.

Offbeat walk. Most people would miss this area, we decided to take this walk with Shagun, as we didn't want a typical photo experience. She is a thorough professional and has a good hang of photography. Few points to improve. 1. Create better visibility for the walk 2. Increase the frequency.

It was very nice and helpful to my photography skills. The host Shagun, is a very friendly lady, and while you walk with her, she makes you completely comfortable. The area is extremely good, to practice street photography. Though hesitant earlier, I definitely dont regret my decision to have taken this walk. Look forward to other walks with you Shagun.
